No pod today, but ...

I’m fine.

I went to the hospital very early Monday morning. Without getting into too much detail, I’m OK. I have a virus that had me passing out overnight three times. Hat trick!

My saint of a wife finally said you are going to the hospital. They kept me over for Monday night. I feel better and hoping I’m back home Tuesday.

Anyway, I apologize there is no pod today, but I’m hoping to make it up very soon.

We also have some great guests coming on Thursday’s Main Events, starting with another “Marchand and Ourand” reunion this week (if all goes well), then perhaps the most powerful sports radio exec in the business, Audacy New York president Chris Oliviero. Finally, after the New Year, Joe Buck.

Plus, Jon Meterparel and I will be back next Tuesday.

Lastly, I think Substack is running a gift promotion starting today. (Good job, Marchand, with no pod). I didn’t know how to pause it so do what you feel.
